Ordering Online

Ordering Online with us is safe and secure !

We employ a method of interaction with our visitors that does not compromise credit card information.    This online system is 100% secure.

We encourage you to feel comfortable using your credit card to conduct commerce on our site.

Wallpapers may generally be ordered by the roll (but just a few are sold by the metre only) and fabrics can be ordered by the whole metre.  You cannot order for example 2.6 metres of fabric – you would have to order 3 metres.

Please note that VAT at the current rate applicable, will be added to the prices shown on our website, unless the goods are being sent overseas, outside the EEC.   Overseas customers will be responsible for paying all local taxes due upon arrival of the goods to their country.

Please note that we can only supply Cole & Son products within the UK and Zoffany, Sanderson & Morris products within the EEC.

We do reserve the right not to process any order for whatever reason, in which case we will refund any money paid in full.

Returns Policy

Goods must be carefully unwrapped and checked upon arrival.   If the goods are received damaged, then they should be signed for as such and we MUST be advised in writing (email / letter) immediately and within 7 days of receipt.   Damaged goods will be exchanged or money refunded.  Where goods are damaged or faulty, we will arrange and pay any return carriage charge.

No claims will be entertained, exchanges made or monies refunded, once fabrics or wallpapers have been cut, tins of paint opened, furniture sat upon or marked in any way, or any bathroom, kitchen, lighting or accessory items used in any way.

Many of the wallpapers that we supply, are either manufactured to order or only produced in small batches and are therefore deemed bespoke items.  This also applies to furniture, all items of which, are specially produced, to Customer’s order.

Whilst we show details of Manufacturer’s products on our website in good faith and believe them to be current, it can sometimes happen that a product is withdrawn from sale and we are not notified of this.

If the Customer is not happy with the goods that we have supplied, for any reason other than faulty or damaged goods, we may agree to have the goods returned, providing this has been agreed in writing with ourselves beforehand and providing that the quantity is not less than 5 rolls of each colourway / design and we will make a handling charge for so doing, of 35% of the Invoiced goods.

In such a case, it will be the responsibility of the Customer to pay for the return carriage charge themself.    We regret that we cannot accept returns where the customer simply changes their mind, once having ordered the product, as we are not able to return the goods to the manufacturers in such cases.

We do suggest that Customers request a sample (where applicable eg. wallpaper / fabric) of their chosen product PRIOR to ordering it up from us, via our website.

Delivery

Once we have received your order and payment has been validated and received by Squareup or PayPal, we will order your goods.    For items which are in stock at the time of order, we would normally expect to despatch within 7 – 10 working days.    Some items will be out of stock and we will advise you accordingly.    Some items will be manufactured to order, which will involve a longer delivery time and again we will advise you accordingly.   For UK only parcel delivery via ParcelForce, with on-line tracking information, we charge £12.50 + VAT.   For UK only – 2 man delivery of furniture to  your home and the item(s) placed in your designated room is £120 + VAT.  For delivery within Europe, we charge £150 + VAT.   For delivery to any other countries, please contact us by our e-mail address –  [email protected].

Our site’s registration and order forms require users to give us contact information, like their name and email address and unique identifiers.    We use customer contact information from the registration form to send the user information about our company.   The customer’s contact information is also used to contact the visitor when necessary if they have subscribed to the mail list.   Contact information from the order form is used to send orders and information about our company to our customers.   Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings by choosing to un-subscribe.   Unique identifiers are collected to verify the user’s identity and for use in our record system.

Security

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.   All data is protected using the most advanced methods available.   We do not store financial information like credit card numbers or personal information, on this site.

Card transaction processing

All transactions are by Credit Card and processed on secure servers by Squareup or PayPal.    We never see or hold any information about Customers’ Credit Card details.

Un-Subscribe

This site gives users the following options for removing their information from our database to not receive future communications or to no longer receive mail list messages.

You can send us an e-mail asking us to remove you from the mailing list, by clicking on the Contact Us button.

Correct / Update

This site gives users the options for changing and modifying information previously provided.
