Description
Chrysanthemum wallpaper was heavily influenced by the national flower of Japan. It was first block printed in 1877 on foiled paper, which was lacquered, stamped and stencilled in oil colour, a technique perfected by Jeffrey & Co., to stimulate the expensive Japanese leather papers imported yb Arthur Sanderson. Chrysanthemum wallpaper is manufactured in 10.05m long rolls, 52 cms in width and with a straight match pattern repat of 52cms. Elite ready mixed paste is the recommended adhesive and 1 kg of paste, covers approximately 1 roll.
